National D-Day Memorial

Photos from the National D Day Memorial in Bedford, Viriginia in March.
It is quite impressive considering it was funded completely with private money and is not connected to the Park Service or the Government.
I tried to capture the essence of the place as I saw it. It would have been even better if the memorial was filled with water as it would later in the year.
